Gesture icons can be used to simply describe how to interact with certain elements on your apps and webapps and can be useful for demonstration purposes. User interfaces should always aim to be as easy to use as possible, but for complex interfaces, it’s always better to describe how to use it than to leave the users out in the cold. We’ve gathered a collection of some great gesture icon packs which you can use for free.
High Quality Hand Gesture Multi-Touch
Self-titled, this hand gesture pack takes an Apple-style approach and is made up of high quality photos of the human hand mimicking various gestures. It’s perfect for realistic looking shots of a person interacting with an interface.
Human Finger Gesture Pack
This gesture pack takes a different approach and consists of 3D fingers to visualise gestures.
Cue Multitouch Gestures
This gesture pack takes a different approach and highlights key gestures of fingertips. It uses shapes and arrows to visualise gestures.
Touch Gesture
A simple and clean approach to gestures. This icon pack is probably as minimalistic as it can get. The actions are easily recognisable and they will probably be used within interfaces to explain specific actions.
Flat Gesture Icons Pack
Another clean approach, this icon pack explains user actions really well in a simplistic manner.
Touch Gesture Icons
This approach uses realistic-looking hand gestures, masked in white, which contains shapes and arrows to visualise different actions. As well as touch and swipe gestures, it contains additional actions such as shaking and moving a mobile device.
